Welcome to my November newsletter, where we celebrate the charm of my favorite month of the year. As autumn leaves paint the landscape with hues of gold and red, Thanksgiving takes center stage as my most treasured holiday. Relying on a local, trusted, REALTOR® has never been more important than now. We have been, and continue to be, in a shifting market and are nearing balance in most of our North Georgia zip codes. Two weeks ago we experienced a rate fall of 0.5% over a week's time. This movement in the interest rate had buyers out and shopping. Buyers - my advice is to buy now and refinance when the rates drop again. When the rates level out closer to the 5-6% range, we will be seeing the not-so-fun multiple offers and bidding wars of 2021-2022. Sellers - if you are in a house with an interest rate below 3% or less I would suggest you consider keeping this home and turn it into an investment property. Most reputable authorities agree we will likely never see a rate below 5% again. With as little as 3-5% down on your next purchase, you can easily buy now and rent your current home.

 

In the luxury market? High-end properties in the North Georgia market continue to showcase resilience and growth. With its breathtaking landscapes, proximity to amenities, and a strong sense of community, the region remains a coveted destination for those seeking the epitome of luxury living.
