Despite various economic factors, housing prices have remained resilient across most price ranges, showing no significant decline. However, there's been a noticeable uptick in inventory, offering buyers a broader selection of properties to choose from. One key trend to note is the extended days-on-market (DOM), indicating a shift towards a more balanced market dynamic. Sellers may need to exercise patience as properties take slightly longer to sell compared to previous periods of high demand.

WOW. Have you seen what is coming to Margaritaville at Lanier Islands water park? It sounds exhilarating and a little too exciting for me! But I know my boys are going to LOVE the thrill of this epic water slide.

If you live in Gainesville, I truly hope you’ve stopped by Puzzle Piece Pastries since they opened Summer of 2023. If not, plan for a visit soon! My spring semester intern, Izzy, and I stopped by for lunch a treat recently. I love their mission to support children and young adults with disabilities. Their menu is delicious with a wide range of breakfast and lunch sandwiches and sweet treats galore. They also serve ice cream, treats by the dozen, and now edible cookie dough! Short on time? They provide a speedy drive-thru for that lunch hour crunch.

It’s warming up and the Downtown Gainesville Square is hosting its annual events that we all look forward to. Lunch times every Wednesday in May will have Blue Sky Concerts on the green. Get your folding chairs and dancing shoes ready - First Fridays are back, starting TONIGHT, May 3rd! They have even added a new music series this year - Hot Summer Nights, every Wednesday in July.
